Corrosion-resistant PTFE chemical hose
Corrosion-resistant PTFE chemical hose is corrosion-resistant, low-temperature resistant, acid-alkali resistant, ozone resistant, flame retardant, etc., and is widely used in chemical pipeline systems in various corrosive environments, such as petrochemical, pharmaceutical, etc.
Corrosion-resistant PTFE chemical hose is a kind of chemical fluid transfer pipe with self-lubricating characteristics used in corrosive media, which is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) material, mainly used to transport corrosive media in petrochemical industry.
Corrosion-resistant PTFE chemical hose has good self-lubricating characteristics, which makes it have higher requirements in mechanical properties, and through the use of advanced production technology and formula design, the product can have high mechanical strength and impact resistance.
Corrosion-resistant PTFE chemical hose is a high-strength, high-toughness material with excellent self-lubricating properties.
Corrosion resistance
In chemical piping systems, corrosion can occur on components such as pipes and valves due to the presence of corrosive media, and the use of corrosion-resistant PTFE chemical hoses can extend their service life. Especially for corrosive media, such as corrosive acids, alkalis, etc., corrosion-resistant PTFE chemical hoses have good corrosion resistance.
This is because corrosion-resistant PTFE chemical hoses have good corrosion resistance in chemical media by adding the right amount of antioxidants. This is because antioxidants enhance corrosion resistance and improve the corrosion resistance of PTFE chemical hoses.
In addition to high-density polyethylene (HDPE), other materials such as polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), polysiloxane (PO), polycalidene fluoride (PVDF), etc., are also used to meet the requirements of different chemical media for pipes. The selection is based on the requirements of specific working conditions.
Abrasion resistance
Abrasion resistance refers to the ability of a material to resist wear during frictional wear. The better the wear resistance, the longer the service life of the material, which can lead to significant cost savings.
The abrasion resistance of PTFE chemical hoses depends on three factors:
1. Surface roughness of the friction pair (i.e., surface roughness): There is a smooth and dense polymer film on the surface of the PTFE chemical hose, which separates the
2. surface of the friction pair, thereby preventing direct friction between the two surfaces and reducing friction.
3. Relative sliding velocity of the surface of the friction pair: The smaller the relative sliding velocity of the material, the smaller the friction coefficient. For example, when the sliding speed is 0.075m/s, the sliding wear of PTFE chemical hose is very small.
4. The strength of the material itself: The strength of PTFE chemical hose is determined by the relative sliding speed of the material itself. Therefore, if the material is not strong enough, it will lead to increased wear. For example, the PTFE chemical hose used in industrial pipelines is deformed, ruptured or pulled off due to the insufficient strength of the pipeline itself or the large particle impurities contained in the conveying medium.
